A disfiguring injury changes everything in an instant — your appearance, your confidence, your ability to work, and how the world sees you. Calidream Foundation exists to help you rebuild what was taken, one step at a time.
Who We Serve
Individuals recovering from burns, skin grafts, and related scarring
Individuals with disfiguring injuries from vehicle accidents, workplace incidents, or falls
Individuals with visible disfigurement from surgery, cancer treatment, or medical conditions
Survivors of violent crime, assault, or domestic violence with resulting disfigurement
All programs prioritize low-income individuals and Latino families in Solano County. Services are free. No immigration status requirements.
The visible wound heals — or doesn't. But the invisible wounds run deeper and longer: the stares in public, the lost job, the relationship that didn't survive, the mirror you avoid, the confidence that disappeared overnight.
Most services focus on the medical emergency. Almost none focus on what comes after. The years of rebuilding. The re-learning how to be in the world with a face or body that the world now reacts to differently.
That gap is where Calidream Foundation operates.

Traffic accidents are one of the leading causes of disfiguring injuries in California. Our driver safety programs work to prevent the crashes. Our recovery programs support the survivors. These missions don't compete — they complete each other.
Every school presentation on distracted driving is an act of injury prevention. Every recovery program participant who returns to work is living proof that prevention matters.
